"yes! what a neat caption for 'Bethlehem,'" i thought. as i continued my stroll, reflecting on the symbolism running through my mind, my view opened up and i saw, constructed atop a hill on the edge of town, a bright star for all to see. the spirit that filled those 'certain poor shepherds' came to me and i felt to exclaim with them, 'Noel, Noel! Born is the King of Israel!' a sweet experience to be sure, i just wanted to extend the invitation to all who happen upon my meager blog to let 'thy heart be innocent' enough to come to the fountain and drink of the refreshing Water of Bethlehem.

Water of Bethlehem
i spent most of this last week at a conference for work in little Bethlehem, PA. quaint would be an appropriate description. after a long day and tasty Thai dish for dinner, i went for a walk through the streets of the Moravian municipality and came across a water fountain with the inscription pictured on its reverse side.

My friends live in Bethlehem. You should have stopped by to see them!
I like this phrase 'thy heart be innocent', it says to much...
